Macrame

As a form of meditation.

On top of being a 200-hour certified yoga instructor, I also create macrame!

I found macrame during the pandemic where at the time I was out of work due to COVID-19 and was looking for ways to keep my mind and physical self busy.

I have always admired the boho aesthetic of fiber art but never really thought to create one myself until the one day that I picked up a DIY packet for a wall hanging. When that first piece was complete, I was hooked and so happy I created something so beautiful.

I started to create more designs and shared photos with others where they saw the beauty in the hand-crafted pieces as well, which led to me starting to sell them. Two months after creating my first piece, I had my own pop-up shop at a local surf café where I teach beach yoga in the summer too!

Macrame to me is a form of meditation. A way to collect my thoughts, ground my energy, be more mindful and help me connect to the present moment.

I have select products in local yoga studios, so if you are in the area be sure to check it out! Please visit my Etsy account below to see what I currently have in stock. I am also always accepting custom orders, so please reach out on Etsy or Instagram to chat about designs and how I can help you!
